Creative Development in UX
Robert E. Franken 1994 defined creativity as the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others. Meanwhile, user experience (UX) is an important aspect of software engineering because it has everything to do with how users interact with a product directly or indirectly. I had the opportunity to give a tech talk on "Creativity in User Experience" by Codesmith, Jeeny, and Bractlet and I must say, I had a lot of fun doing it.
